Architectural Review

Stone Ridge Homeowners Association

Of Anne Arundel County, Inc.

Dear Stone Ridge Homeowner:

We want to remind each of our Stone Ridge homeowners that your lot is subject to the rights and restrictions contained in the Declaration of Covenants for the community. Homeowners planning to make any architectural changes to the exterior of their home or build any improvements on their property are required to submit the building plans in advance to the HOA for approval. The types of improvements subject to architectural review and approval include, but are not limited to:

  • Building design and exterior color changes;

  • Fence styles, locations, materials, and colors;

  • Deck and patio styles, locations, materials, and colors;

  • Shed styles, locations, materials, and colors;

  • Swimming pools;

  • Play equipment;

  • Television antennae;

  • Landscaping;

  • Driveway and sidewalk layouts and materials;

  • Lamp post styles and colors

A homeowner who makes such improvements without obtaining prior approval will be in violation of the covenants. Please visit www.stoneridgeriva.com (forms and documents) for requirements or email your questions to:

Proposals should be submitted via email (above) or hand delivered to a member of the ARC

Homeowners are encouraged to make every effort to submit proposals well in advance of anticipated start dates. Two weeks is preferred. This will allow the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) ample time to review and provide feedback to homeowners (if necessary).

Remember that the members of the ARC and the HOA Board of Directors consist of your neighbors who are volunteering their time towards these efforts. Thank you for your cooperation in working together with us to maintain the architectural integrity of our community.

Sincerely,

Stone Ridge HOA Board of Directors and Architectural Review Committee
